Infeed Servo Carriage (x-axis)

The infeed conveyor precision servo carriage is the most accurate and absolute positioning system available. The precision ground track contains two precision (2) rack gears.   One is to drive (push) the material into the fabricator; the other is for measuring with an AC closed loop positioning.  The resolver feed-back device will accomplish absolute hole positioning in the X-Axis with a tolerance at +/- .030".

Press Positioning (y-axis)

Closed loop servo valves provide gauge positioning for each press unit.   Exclusive Franklin material probes follow the heel of the angle and compensates for material movement and camber.  Press positioning of +/- .005" electronically is easily accomplished through the 0-10 volt transducer feed-back.  These units can provide overall hole positioning tolerance in the Y-Axis at +/- .030".
